Still wish it came with S/S and sapphire. Also with the S/S version, I could get the watch repaired/serviced locally in the states. I prefer the look of stainless, and it seems I could get the mineral crystal replaced a few times to make up for the difference in price for the sapphire version. We cannot speak to the future as prices may or may not change. This is for parts, labor, water testing and return shipping. "The costs today would run about 45.00 to 50.00. FLXI contacted Citizen directly regarding the cost of a mineral crystal replacement If it had been a problem, I was prepared to make a pair of adapters, but fortunately they were not needed. That was one concern expressed here when I first asked about doing this. Btw, it seems quite secure and the leather such thickness that when I tried making a cotton cloth mock-up to try and tear lose, I could not. I like it a lot and have to wonder about BigC not offering a strap on at least one of the 2100 models. Yes, it is a dark finished ti (imo), but different than that on the older ti SkyHawk I have. I quickly got swirlies on the clasp of the "H" model. However, I am not impressed by the durability of the ti finish. I've three ti model 2100/210s (including the two bullheads and use either the white or black stainless as travel watches since they are rugged, easy to operate, legible, and (in a pinch) relatively cheap and easily replaced. I have a few questions about these models:ġ) does anybody have any experience with the titanium on the HK model? Is it scratch resistant?Ģ) Is the HK titanium version the typical dark titanium or is it a lighter titanium that looks more like stainless steel?ģ) If the mineral crystal were to be damaged on the US model, would Citizen replace it? If so, how much would a mineral crystal replacement cost?Ĥ) Any other general information comparing these models would be greatly appreciated I want to buy a white dial Citizen Calibre 2100 watch but I am torn between the US stainless steel mineral crystal white dial version, AV0031-59A, Īnd the HK titanium sapphire crystal white dial version, AV0020-55A,
