Registration is free and only takes a few minutes. Scheduling a Microsoft certification exam with Pearson VUE starts with creating a Microsoft Certification profile. You can take Microsoft certification exams with Pearson VUE in person at an Authorized Test Center, or online in the comfort of your home or office while being monitored by an offsite proctor. We believe this approach and our continued investments will provide learners the opportunity to focus on continuous learning to stay at the forefront of meeting demand in a digital and cloud world, while reducing complexity, cost, and stress in keeping certifications current. Holding an active certification helps validate skills and knowledge are current with the latest technology updates – especially important for tech professionals and employers given the speed at which technology evolves. Learners can continue to keep their certification active by renewing it on an annual basis. Updates to the renewal assessments are aligned with updates made to the certification exam, and learners must pass the assessment before their certification expires to renew. Individuals with certifications expiring within six months will have the ability to pass an assessment on Microsoft Learn for free, extending their certification expiration date by another year. We are releasing a new Microsoft Learn feature that enables role-based and specialty certification holders the ability to renew their certification.
